Symphony POPS! Patron Information
Symphony POPS! concerts, except the Holiday Celebration, begin at 8 pm at the Long Beach Arena. Doors open at 6:30 pm for picnickers. Symphony POPS! patrons are encouraged to enjoy picnic dinners at their tables or in their loge or balcony seats.
Parking
Parking costs $8 in the lots adjacent to the concert venues. Subscribers may purchase discounted season parking passes. Parking lot entrances are off Seaside Way; from Shoreline Drive, turn onto Pine Avenue, then right onto Seaside Way. From Ocean Boulevard, turn onto Pine Avenue, then left onto Seaside Way. Follow any posted or illuminated signs.
Food and Drink

Symphony POPS! patrons are encouraged to enjoy picnic dinners at their tables or in their loge or balcony seats. Alcohol is permitted at Symphony POPS! concerts at the Long Beach Arena.
Concert-goers may bring their own picnic dinners or have them professionally catered. The Long Beach Symphony Orchestra maintains a list of approved caterers who have agreed to abide by the catering requirements set forth for our concerts.
The caterer list is provided as a convenience to our Symphony POPS! patrons and is neither an endorsement or recommendation. The Long Beach Symphony Orchestra assumes no liability for the services of the products of these businesses.
To add to your fun, you may wish to tailor your food, table decorations and attire to each of the concert themes and colors. Please call the Symphony office at (562) 436-3203 for each concert’s theme and colors.
In planning for your picnic at the Symphony POPS!, please remember that we must comply with the Long Beach Convention and Entertainment Center’s Fire Prevention and Public Safety Regulations:
• All aisles and entrances/exits must be kept clean and free of obstruction.
• Items not permitted include small portable tables, food carts, or additional service set-up positioned around the banquet table or along the arena wall.
• No open flames, candles, cooking equipment or smoking inside the arena.
We also ask that no balloons, battery-operated candles, or anything that might distract other patrons from seeing and enjoying the performance be used as table decorations.
Concession Stand Refreshments
Light refreshments, hot beverages, sodas, beer and wine are available at the concession stands. Concert-goers are also permitted to bring their own picnic dinners or
Emergency Calls During Concerts
If you leave your name and seat location at the Patron Services podium inside the front entrance of the Arena, you will be reached in an emergency. The emergency telephone number is (562) 436-3636
Pagers, Cell Phones, and Watch Alarms
As a courtesy to all patrons, please turn off your watch alarm, cell phone, and/or pager during the concert. In case of emergencies, you may leave your pager or cell phone (and seat location) at the Patron Services podium located inside the front entrance of the Arena and you will be notified immediately if you receive a call.
Photographic & Recording Equipment
The use of video, photographic, and recording equipment is strictly prohibited.
Smoking
Smoking is prohibited throughout the Long Beach Arena.
