Each year fourth and fifth-grade students of the Long Beach Unified School District look forward to their musical field trip to the Symphony’s home—the Terrace Theater in downtown Long Beach—for the Boeing Concerts for Young People. In the span of just three mornings, the orchestra performs six concerts for nearly 17,000 students and their teachers. The concerts introduce the students to classical music through themed concerts.
