Violinist Debra Price began playing at age nine. Tutored by her mother, Eunice W Price, and coached by Vera Barstow, she later studied with Endre Granat at CSU Northridge and Eunice Shapiro at USC.

Ms. Price completed her post-graduate work at the Institute of Advanced Music Studies in Montreaux, Switzerland with the renowned Zion Franciscotti.

Her achievements include two-time winner of the Annual Concerts Contest sponsored by the Los Angeles Music Teachers Association; twice recipient of the Congress of Strings Scholarship Award where she performed with Yehudi Menuhin on the Concerto for Two Violins by Bach; top winner in the Etude Club Auditions; winner of the Senior Division of the California Strings Teachers Association; three­time first place in the Southwest Music Festival; recipient of the Jascha Heifetz Scholarship Award from the University of Southern California.

She has appeared as soloist with several orchestras including the San Bernandino Orchestra, Honolulu Symphony (where she was assistant concertmaster), San Fernando Valley Symphony as well as guest soloist with the Los Angeles Concert Orchestra, California Institute of the Arts, the Los Angeles Repertorie Chamber Orchestra and was featured in a TV program with Sydney Harth. She also served as concert­master on a number of musical plays under the director of Kevin Farrell.

Ms. Price was adjunct professor at Pepperdine University and a founding member of the Pacific Strings and Chariot Trio. She is a familiar face in the Southern California Classical music scene as a member of the Long Beach Symphony, the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra, LA Master Chorale, LA Opera and others. Ms. Price is associate concertmaster in her 21st season with the Glendale Symphony Orchestra and also records for the motion picture, television and recording industries.
