Brooklyn, New York.
What college did you attend?
University of Arizona and UCLA.
What inspired you to start playing music?
My father played a recording of Beethoven’s Fifth Symphony when they brought me home from the hospital at birth.
Why did you choose your principal instrument?
It had a unique identity.
What other instruments do you play?
flute, clarinet and saxophone.
When did you start playing with the Long Beach Symphony Orchestra (what year)?
1987.
With what other orchestras do you perform?
Many including the LA Philharmonic, LA Opera and studios.
Have you performed for any of the following, and if so, who or what?
Film: “Die Hard”, “Jurassic Park”, “Behind Enemy Lines”, “The Matrix”, “Home Alone”, “Lethal Weapon”, “Indiana Jones”.
Recordings: Elton John, Rod Stewart, Diana Ross, Celine Dion, Barbara Streisand, Frank Sinatra, Luther Vandross and Vanessa Williams.
Cartoons: “Animaniacs”, “Pinky and The Brain”, “Freakazoid” and “Tiny Toons”.
Touring Artists: Europe with LA Philharmonic.

Bach and Mahler.

Painting, travel, speaking French and interior design.
