That depends—what day is it today?
Why?

What is your favorite orchestral work?
John Cage’s Atlas Eclipticalis.
Why?
It’s such a radical way to hear an orchestra. It really changes your perceptions.

What is the funniest thing that has ever happened to you while onstage?
During an outdoor concert the bass section was holding a note that suddenly went flat. The conductor was a bit of a hothead and shot us an angry glance so we stopped playing. The note continued becoming flatter still. It was about then we realized that an airplane was flying low overhead and holding our note.

What do you enjoy doing besides music (hobbies, etc.)?
Cooking.

What is your favorite ice cream flavor?
Chocolate, of course!!

Do you have family, kids, or pets that you’d like to share something about?
